A view from Catholic Social Teaching” Philip Booth is Professor of Insurance and Risk Management at Cass Business School. Before that, he was Professor of Real Estate Finance (from 2000-2002). He started working at City University in the old Department of Actuarial Science and Sta- tistics in 1988. He began his career working in the Investment Department of Axa Eq- uity and Law (1985-1988). He has had a period on secondment to the Bank of Eng- land (1998-1999) and worked there as a special adviser from 1999-2002. Philip Booth established his reputation in actuarial science in the fields of investment, fi- nance and social insurance. His work in investment and finance included a number of publications in the real estate finance literature on the role of property in pension funds and the valuation of property with upward only rent reviews as well as on prop- erty risk analysis. Other research interests include regulation. MERCREDI 21 MAI 2008 - 18h45 Qui dit visite de musée, château ou autre site culturel, dit boutique de souvenirs. Ce passage obligé est devenu partie intégrante de la visite et un élément nécessaire à l’équilibre financier des sites. Sa gestion constitue un délicat numéro d’équilibriste qui requiert de composer entre culture et consumérisme. De nombreuses questions se posent. En premier lieu, quels objectifs doit atteindre une boutique ? : Rentabilité certes, mais aussi finalisation et approfondissement de l’expérience de visite, aide à l’appropriation du lieu. Faut-il viser à maîtriser l’offre pour l’harmoniser au site ou déléguer la gestion afin de la confier à des professionnels. Dans ce cas, quelles sont les clefs d’une délégation réussie ? Quels sont les facteurs clefs de succès d’une boutique ? Quels sont les produits qui fonctionnent ? Comment on-ils évolués ? Quels sont les ratios clefs, les métiers de cette industrie et ses principaux acteurs ? Autant de questions que nous poserons à nos invités, responsables de sites, gestionnaires de boutiques ou producteurs spécialisés sur ce marché. ESCP-EAP SUMMER GALA 2008 ESCP-EAP London Campus are holding their Summer Gala.
